I have just acquired a box of magazines from the mid sixties, and in
them I have found six copies of the `@5RADIO TIMES@1` - they all have a
listing for Dr Who episodes! here is a list of which ones and what it
says for each one...
(I will try to get the pages scanned if anyone wants me to)

@15.15 Sat Jan 25th, THE ORDEAL.
`An adventure in space and time`

and CAROLE ANN FORD
with John Lee, Philip Bond.
(followed by usual credits, Dalek voices etc.)
folloed at 5.40 by `JUKE BOX JURY`, the panel consisting of
Adam Faith, CAROLE ANN FORD, and Jean Metcalfe.

As Grandstand has been extended to cover todays important
sporting events, this weeks episode of the serial has been
postponed until next Saturday at 5.15`
The events mentioned were Finals Day at WImbledon (Tennis), and
England v. Australia Third Test (Cricket).

and at 7.05 later that evening, `DR FINLAYS CASEBOOK` - an episode
called `A TEST OF INTELLIGENCE` with guest star PATRICK TROUGHTON! and
a photo of him. This is a repeat from Jan 12th of that year.

and on the back page of this issue, an advert for next weeks Christmas
issue colour pull-out,

with a half page picture of William Hartnell with a young blonde girl
who looks like Alice from Wonderland and not Barbara, having tea with
two Daleks!
Now for the bad news, I got these mags off my brother. The box
was part of several in which he had sorted the various titles into. He
sold the other boxes at car boot sales a few months ago, and one of them
was ALL Radio Times (about 60 issues!).
John Denny
